“这说明，一方面，在外需不足尚未根本改善的情况下，一些刚性消费需求还在；另一方面，我国外贸结构正不断得到优化提升。”海关总署新闻发言人郑跃声表示。
中国外贸500强企业2012年进出口总值1.4万亿美元占全国对外贸易总额36%
中国对外经济贸易统计学会发布的数据显示，2012年外贸500强进出口总额达到14054.29亿美元，为历史之最，较2011年增长3.58%，其中，出口总额为5951.06亿美元，比上年增长4.34%，进口总额8103.23亿美元，比上年增长3.03%，总体出现2152亿美元的逆差，与全国外贸总体呈现2000多亿美元的顺差完全不同。
尽管在对外贸易中占据重要地位，但外贸500强占全国进出口总额的比重有所下降，从2000年的43.05%降至2012年的36.35%，其中，出口从2000年的38.62%降至29.03%，进口从47.95%降至44.58%。
同时，外贸500强企业在我国GDP中的比重也呈现下降，这一比重在2004年达到29.54%的高峰后逐年下降，2009年受金融危机影响降至17.37%，2012年进一步降至17.01%，这与全国外贸依存度的总体走势基本吻合。
另外，外贸500强入围门槛呈现上升，2008年500强进出口最小值达到4.94亿美元，2009年和2010年受金融危机影响分别降至4.41亿美元和3.09亿美元，受外贸整体形势影响，2012年外贸500强进出口额最小值迅速回升至7.13亿美元，2012年这一门槛进一步升至7.23亿美元。Global import service
